About Ertaş Engineering
We are a sourcing company in Bursa, Türkiye. We make and supply metal parts through an audited network of shops and support them with our own design and engineering work.
What we are
We take your drawing, choose the shop in our network that fits the part, and are responsible for it until it reaches your dock. A shop joins the network only after we have audited it for the work we plan to route to it.
Our design and engineering support covers what a drawing alone does not: design changes for manufacturing, missing drawings and reverse engineering.
Who we work for
Mid-sized Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers that need machined, sheet metal, welded or cast parts made to drawing.
Most of this work comes from our core industries: industrial and special-purpose machinery, automotive and commercial vehicles, agricultural and construction machinery, energy and electrical equipment, and hydraulics. Alongside these we serve specialist niches with demanding parts: photonics and lasers, robotics and automation, vacuum and semiconductor equipment, research and cryogenics, test and measurement, and data centre cooling. Why Bursa and Türkiye
Bursa is one of Türkiye's main manufacturing regions, with a long-established machining and automotive supply base.
Türkiye is in a customs union with the EU for industrial goods: parts enter the EU at 0 % duty with an A.TR certificate and reach central Europe by road. How delivery works.
What we do not do
Some work we turn down on principle.
- Defence and military partsWe do not quote or supply military or controlled defence items. Every drawing is checked for export control before we quote.
- IATF series safety partsIn automotive we supply Tier 2 parts, not safety-relevant series parts that require IATF 16949 production.
- Rail and aerospace qualificationsWe do not take work that requires EN 15085 rail welding or AS9100 aerospace approval.
- Claims we cannot documentWe do not list certificates, figures or customer names on this site until we can show them.
