Sheet metal: laser cutting,
bending, punching

Brackets, covers, enclosures and panels, cut and bent in audited shops in our Bursa network. Send STEP and a PDF drawing; we come back with a route, a price and a lead time.

When sheet metal is the right choice

Sheet metal suits thin parts that can be cut flat and then bent: brackets, covers, enclosures, panels. Laser cutting needs no part-specific tooling, so prototypes and small batches stay affordable.

Thick parts with pockets or tight tolerances on several faces are cheaper milled. Frames from tube and plate are welded assemblies. If your part is a mix, we route it and tell you why.

Design rules that cut cost

  1. Use one inside bend radiusOne radius across the part means one tool set on the press brake. A radius close to the sheet thickness is a safe start.
  2. Keep holes away from bendsHoles and slots too close to a bend line stretch out of shape. Leave a distance of a few sheet thicknesses.
  3. Add bend reliefsWhere a bend meets an edge, a small relief cut stops the corner from tearing.
  4. Dimension from bent edgesPut critical dimensions on one side of a bend. Dimensions across several bends add up the bending tolerance.
  5. Tolerance only what mattersMounting holes and mating flanges get their own tolerance. Everything else stays on ISO 2768-m.
